3 Simple Steps to Stop and Heal Cavities Naturally

Each year millions of people around the globe suffer from painful cavities and other dental issues. As a matter of fact, the NIDCR (National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research) has conducted a study which reveals that nearly 26% of all adults from the ages of 20 to 64 have untreated tooth decay that can later get much worse. Of course, many people's first thought when they notice a cavity forming is that they have to get to the dentist as soon as possible, but that's actually not true. Here are 3 simple ways to naturally heal cavities without having to make an appointment with a dentist.

1. Change Your Diet

– Most tooth decay is caused by the foods we eat and the beverages we drink. This is why you want to cut out sugary foods and drinks from your diet in order to help your cavities heal. You also want to include mineral-rich foods in your diet such as grass-fed organic dairy, olive oil, kefir, grass-fed meats, bone broths and seafood.

2. Use a Mineralizing Toothpaste

– You may want to also try ditching your traditional fluoride toothpaste for a mineralizing one. Many mineralizing toothpastes can be fairly expensive, but you can always make your own with a about 4 tablespoons of coconut oil, approximately 20 drops of peppermint oil, 2 tablespoons of aluminum free baking soda, a bit of calcium powder and a tablespoon of xylitol or 1/8 teaspoon of Stevia.

3. Oil Pulling

– Another easy and natural way to heal cavities is by oil pulling. This method has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries because is draws out toxins from the body and cleanse the entire mouth. The process of oil pulling consists of swishing a tablespoon of coconut oil around in your mouth for about 20 minutes before spitting it out into a plastic bag to throw into the waste. You don't want to spit the oil into your sink as it will be full of bacteria. Also, keep in mind that the best time to do oil pulling is in the morning before you brush your teeth.

5 Huge Mistakes People with Oily Skin Should Avoid

No matter your skin nature, you've apparently had some concerns with breakouts and pores. But when it comes to handling oily skin, you’re possibly dealing with more than a shiny nose. Oil flare-ups can start acne and clogged pores, notably if your cleansing practices aren't in check. Plenty oil production can be created by many things from stress to weather and even your menstrual cycle. The hormone DHT triggers your glands to deliver more sebum and a spike in this hormone leads to an oily and slick surface. But there is still some chance of success and recovery. Avoid making these 5 oily skin blunders and you also can have a pure face.

1. Being afraid of oil
Not all oils are similar. Don’t be scared of the word “oil” in certain lotions, creams and moisturizers. Argan and Jojoba oils are utilized in plenty of products to aid with nourishing benefits and are non-comedogenic, so they are allowed.

2. Using harsh cleansers
Products like alcohol-infused and astringents cleansers can disturb the skin which can lead to acne. Apply a foaming gel cleanser that includes salicylic acid and check that it is sulfate-free to eliminate any further dryness or irritation.

3. Exfoliating too much
Physical exfoliation, like utilizing a facial brush or utilizing a scrub with micro beads, can be quite harsh on the skin — and doing such a thing more than once in a week will make your skin go insane. Avoid the scrubbing completely and apply a chemical exfoliant that has BHAs and AHAs for a soft and more efficient result.

4. Missing out on makeup
Cosmetics are entertaining and oily skin is no apology to skip them. All you have to do is to shop cleverly: Search for makeup products that are oil-free and include salicylic acid, which encourage the elimination of any build-up in pores — and clean your face before bed.

5. Not using moisturizer
We get that you presumably don’t see the necessity of adding a layer of hydration to your skin, but it’s no justification to write it off. Skin cells require water to live and stay healthy, so it’s vital to add that hydration and don't forget to seek for a formula that is light and oil-free or non-comedogenic.

How to Heal Cavities Naturally

The tooth fairy is not the greatest myth when it all comes to teeth. What really happens when you feel mouth pain because of a cavity? Society and dentists both have done an amazing job convincing us that the unique way to handle cavities is to drill a hole into the bum tooth and fill it with synthetic material. And if the cavity is actually ruined, a root canal will do the trick.

The world is gradually waking up to the fact that, when you give your body what it requires, it can heal conditions we previously believed were impossible. Extensive research is now becoming more public about the actual nature of tooth decay and that there are established remedies that can cure it.

A study published in the British Medical Journal
In point of fact, according to this study, tooth decay and cavities could possibly be reversed with diet.

A study was conducted on 62 children with cavities, and they were separated into 3 separate diet groups.

  • Group 1: consumed a regular diet and oatmeal (rich in phytic acid).
  • Group 2: ate a standard diet plus vitamin D.
  • Group 3: consumed a grain-free diet and supplemented with vitamin D.

The results found that

  • Group 1: who had a diet high in phytic acid and grains had an escalation in cavities.
  • Group 2: had enhancements in cavities and less form.
  • Group 3: who consumed nutrient-rich foods and followed a grain-free diet and was supplemented with vitamin D, saw the biggest changes — almost all cavities were healed.

Not only are cavity fillings expensive and in need of repair every 10 years or even sooner, they are also bad for your health because they generally contain mercury. Evidence also proposes that root canals are associated with disease, and are notably dangerous to people who undergo autoimmune diseases.

Tooth decay, as researched by Dr. Weston Price, Dr. Edward Mellanby, and Ramiel Nagel boiled down to 5 factors:
  • Not enough minerals in the diet (magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus deficiency)
  • Lack of fat soluble vitamins (A, E, K, and especially vitamin D deficiency) in the diet.
  • Too much phytic acid-rich foods in the diet.
  • Too much-processed sugar in the diet.
  • Nutrients are not being readily bio-available.

If your diet lacks minerals and vitamins over a period of time, from a poor diet that includes very high levels of phytates (from grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes), the ratio of phosphorous and calcium becomes out of balance, which ends in minerals being extracted from bones, causing tooth loss.

Sugar creates tooth decay by depleting nutrients from the body.

How to Reverse Cavities Naturally?
The greater part of problems causing tooth decay and cavity generation is diet.
