How to Heal Cavities Naturally

  1. The main causes of tooth decay is sugary foods, acid containing foods and lack of dental hygiene. If there is a dental cavity, a whole in the tooth, non of this is going to fill the whole. And the longer someone ignores the problem, the more likely it will turn into a major issue like a Root Canal, Crown and even worse, an extraction. So these measures descused above are definitely good as preventing a cavity but hygiene is the answer!!!!!!

    1. One of the main causes is also lack of vitamin d and healthy saturated fats. Thank you for your great input Christine.

  2. So how are you supposed to use this powder????

    1. Simply use it as a toothpaste Tiffani.

    2. I've used my recipe for over a year and learned that it dries your mouth out if used daily. I now use it about every other day, or by sprinkling it on top of a small amount of toothpaste. It does stain the toothbrush after time - but well worth that problem IMO.

    3. I put coconut oil in it to make a paste, and my gums have never been healthier. I use it many times each day.

  3. Where can you buy the ingredients to make it?

    1. I make a version of this and buy the ingredients at PipingRock.com

  4. Can you use something besides cinnamon? I'm allergic.

    1. I think you could just leave the cinnamon out.

    2. You could literally leave everything out. The author has no sources, no scientific background, and no anything other than what he pulled out of his ass.

You if you actually use this 'remedy', be aware you're wiping your teeth with shit pulled out of an idiot's ass.

    3. Nick, If you don't know anything about Natural healing what are you doing on this site. This is an excellent remedy, and for you to sound off on something you don't know about shows that your just a TROLL.

  5. Where is the research to back this information and are you a dentist or in the dental profession? I would encourage people to not follow advice posted on a blog by someone with no medical background or research to back their claims.

    1. Wow you must be a dentist who is afraid of losing business. Ha Ha Ha

  6. I'm curious... Did you just make all this up?? You obviously can't heal a hole in your tooth (a cavity) by any of this.

    1. There is a lot of information on the web about ways to reverse cavities. look around. There are no better proof then trying it and seeing the results for yourself.

    2. You could shoot yourself in the foot to see if guns work, too. But you'd be a fucking idiot to do so. Maybe you ought to listen to the 99%.

Meanwhile, the OP deletes every single comment that points out how absolutely stupid this entire concept is. So they're not exactly looking for facts.

  7. Cavities CAN be reversed (if there is no hole), from proper nutrition & ingredient consumption/usage. I have a friend who used organic diet & essential oils that reversed beginning cavities in her children this way.

    1. Cavities cannot be reversed. You are very ill informed. I am a dental hygienist and have actual education unlike this fool who is sitting at her computer blogging about things that will make cavities worse

    2. Actually there are many people who have healed cavities, including myself. I also healed my cats ROTTEN tooth... The vet wanted to remove it for over $700 so I did some research and now it is HEALED.

    3. My dentist actually confirmed that beginning cavities can be reversed through proper diet and brushing with the right stuff. She did say, however, that it doesn't replace the trip to the dentist. My daughter had to have one cavity filled but she agreed we could wait on the other 2 and I could try to reverse the damage before her next visit. So apparently not all dental hygienists know what they are talking about either or are too lazy to actually look up info that was not presented to them in school... which natural remedies rarely are. As I'm sure the above 'professional' hygienist has tried the remedy to prove that it will make the cavities worse as she states. I have no idea if this particular remedy works, but it does look very similar to the one my dentist recommended for my daughter.

Moral of the story. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it, but when it comes to your health, do some research, talk to more than one professional, and if natural isn't working, pony up the cash and get it fixed the mainstream way.

    4. I healed my teeth. I had pits on the front and used earth paste and after six months they were remineralized.
Of course if we healed our own teeth, dentists would be out of business. Best to search for a biological dentist that doesn't have his/her own mercury poisoning that is making them crazy.

  8. Well there are lot of home remedies but according to me it is best you visit a dentist. The dental experts will not only suggest you corrective treatments to avoid cavities in future and also provide long lasting results.

  9. Great article, unfortunately western dentists are still swearing by fluoride. They also never point out the fact that a huge reason we get cavities are because of the foods we eat.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Mine does. "Sugars are the cause of cavities."

      Delete
    2. EVERY SINGLE DENTIST screams that sugary foods cause cavities. Flouride is a proven measure taken to mitigate the high-sugar diets we all eat, not a cure to everything. And articles like this only confuse the issues by adding bullshit to what should be a pretty simple concept.

  11. Treating cavities the natural way sounds like a good idea for me to do. I believe a dentist once told me about using peppermint in my toothpaste after my wife told him that we use a bland toothpaste. That paste is what got him worried because of what he heard from.

  12. One of the most misleading and uneducated blog articles out there. This article is only tricking people into thinking they can naturally heal cavities; which they cannot. Perhaps people who are not educated on dental hygiene should not write posts covering the subject. If you actually want to help people, I suggest you delete this post as soon as possible. It's just too bad you wrote it in the first place, now there are people out there rubbing a lemon and cloves on their teeth! BTW lemon will make the pain worse and cloves are going to stain your teeth brown... Great advice blogger!

    3. Weston A Price researched the diets of indigenous people to see why they had no tooth decay despite the fact that they've never been to a dentist or a dental hygienist and what they discovered was the diet of these people was high in minerals and vitamins. So yes you can reverse tooth decay by re-mineralizing your teeth. And I bet you believe Floride is good for making teeth strong and preventing cavities. I suggest you do some research on the dangers of floride and what it does to the human body I wonder if they taught you that in the dental hygienist course? Here's the problem our soil is depleted of minerals we eat processed foods, our drinks are full of sugar, there's chemicals added to our water and our food, our bodies are acidic from all the junk we put in and on our bodies that cause disease. Give the body the building blocks that are lacking and it will heal itself.

    1. If people do this instead of getting REAL treatment, it's going to make the problem worse. People die because they try alternative solutions instead of getting real treatment from real doctors practicing real medicine. Medicine and science are not topics where everyone is entitled to an opinion. Science is based on facts and evidence of which this article has neither.

      Delete
    2. What exactly is real treatment? Just because a doctor tells you? What's wrong with the system is that doctor's prescribe drugs to mask the problem. A doctor wouldn't tell you to take a natural supplement because he makes no money from that. More people die from conventional medicine than natural medicine. Here's a scientific fact give your body the minerals and the right foods and your body will begin to heal.

  14. Youre exactly right.Common sense should kuck in on this one.Nothing will fill a whole but a filling. The End.

    1. You mean fill the hole not whole. And yes you can re-mineralize your teeth and fill the hole. Give your body the right fuel and it can heal itself including filling holes, repairing broken bones reversing heart disease etc. Stop eating junk and give your body the tools it needs to do it's job. The end.

  16. Weston Price did research on the natural diets of indigenous people; who don't visit dentists and why their teeth were good. Cavities are caused by an imbalance of minerals and vitamins in the diet.

What are the directions for using the tooth powder?

  20. I appreciate your info on making toothpaste. I can say with still some astonishment in me, that my middle daughter's deep cavities have been reversed by diet. However, my eldest daughters have not, as she doesn't like several of the nutrient dense foods we eat. Our dentist has agreed to monitor her cavity for improvement or degradation, and my daughter and I are working on finding foods she likes that will help her. We've given ourselves three months to keep an eye on it. As for myself, I don't know if the diet has made any difference for me, as I had a mouthful of problematic mercury fillings.
